A man has died following a two car crash on West Coast Road between Kirwee and Darfield.
Police were called to the crash near Ansons Road around 5:10pm this evening.
Another person involved in the incident has been transported to hospital via helicopter in a serious condition.
The Police Serious crash unit is attending.
The road is closed and diversions will be in place until at least 9:30pm.
Police ask drivers in the area to be patient as there may be delays.
