Drivers are being asked to avoid the intersection of Tennent Drive and University Avenue, Palmerston North following a crash just before midday.
Due to the crash the southbound lane on Tennent Drive is closed and diversions are in place. The northbound lane remains open.
The crash involved a car and a bus and ambulance, fire and police staff are in attendance. It is believed one person has been injured and will be transported to hospital.
A timeline for when the road will reopen is unclear but updates will be provided when available.
