Auckland City Police investigating the stabbing of a 19 year old man on Franklin Rd, Ponsonby on 8 December 2017, have made an arrest.
A 35-year-old West Auckland man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and with assault.
He is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on Monday 5 February 2018.
Police would like to thank the members of the public who were able to assist the victim at the time of the stabbing, and those that have assisted during the subsequent investigation.
