Police can now release the names of the two men killed in an accident in Kainga, Christchurch on Friday night.
They are 60-year-old cyclist Phillip Eden from Ohoka and 47-year-old motorist Mark Vincent Green from Shirley, Christchurch.
Mr Green was a motorist and Mr Eden was cycling at the time of the accident.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash and would like to speak to anyone with information.
