Police operation under way in Napier

Hawke’s Bay Police are currently undertaking a pre-planned operation in Onekawa, Napier, to locate a person who is wanted to arrest. 
 
The Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) and an air support unit are providing assistance to the operation team.   
 
Cordons are in place, restricting access to Neal Crescent. 
 
Police wish to advise residents not to be alarmed by our presence in the area – there is no risk to the public. 
 
We also thank residents for their patience and cooperation.
