Police seek information on ring theft

Police are seeking the public's assistance after two rings were stolen from a store in the Wellington CBD on Friday 17 June 2016.

The two rings have a combined value of over $11,000.

The offender is described as male, 25-35 years old, of medium build, 5'10, with dark facial stubble.  He was wearing a dark beanie, a brown/green hoodie and khaki pants.  The man also appeared to have a tattoo on his forearm and left hand which looks like flames or a tribal tattoo.

Police ask anyone with information to please contact Wellington Central Police Station on 04 381 2000.  Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
