Police seek information on two Kerikeri burglaries

Kerikeri Police are seeking information from the public about two recent burglaries.

The first burglary is believed to have occurred overnight between Sunday September 20 and Monday September 21.

Thieves broke into Churchills Fine Meats & Deli in the main street of Kerikeri and stole a large quantity of Angus scotch fillet steak, salami and unprocessed meat.

Police are warning the public that they risk food poisoning if they purchase meat from criminals involved in thefts of meat or livestock.

The second burglary occurred during the day at a residential property in Shepherds Road, Kerikeri on Monday September 21. Thieves broke into a house and stole jewellery and electronic items.
