Police seek speeding motorcyclist

Police are seeking further information after a motorcyclist was seen travelling at excessive speeds near the township of Waihola on Saturday, 5 January.

An Aprilia RSV1000 motorcycle, coloured red with dual tail lights and sporting an aftermarket muffler and pack rack, was spotted by Police travelling on State Highway 1, south of Dunedin, at an extremely high speed.

“Police are extremely disappointed by this type of behaviour. This individual has not only risked their own life, but that of other road users in the vicinity.” says Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen.
