Stolen power tools recovered by Police

Police are seeking the owner of a number of power tools recovered by the Counties Manukau East Tactical Crime Unit.

It is believed that they were stolen on or about 13 September 2016 from a South Auckland location but Police have not been able to link them to a complaint.

Counties Manukau Police Tactical Crime Unit supervisor Sergeant John Roberts said they appear to have been stolen as a lot and there are some unique markings on it which the owners would be able to tell police.

“We would really like to be able to return this property to the hard-working tradie who had these stolen from them”, said Sergeant Roberts.

If you are the owner of these tools, or know who might be, please call Sergeant Roberts on (09) 261 1300. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
