A powhiri for the new District Commander of the Eastern District, Superintendent Sandra Venables, will take place at Pakirikiri Marae, Tokomaru Bay on Wednesday 15 January at 11.00am.
Superintendent Venables comes to the Eastern District having served three years as Area Commander: Eastern Bay of Plenty. Ms Venables has 20 years' service in NZ Police in the Waikato; Bay of Plenty and Northland Districts.
