Wellington Police can now release the name of the 24-year-old female who was struck by a vehicle on Vivian Street just after 1.30am on Sunday 31 August.
After Police notified her family we can confirm that the young woman who was fatally injured in the collision was Alix Rae ROBINSON. Her family have asked Police to pass on their request for privacy and their wish to not be approached by media at this time.
A Serious Crash Unit investigation is continuing and the driver of the vehicle is assisting Police with inquiries.
