1 min read

The 46 year-old man who appeared in the Auckland District Court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to the death of another man, has been remanded in custody at the Mason Clinic for a psychiatric assessment and will reappear via audio-visual link on November 20.

His name and the name of the victim have been suppressed, as has the address of the scene of last night's incident along with parts of the Police summary of facts.

Police expect to have completed the scene examination of the property today and hope to be able to formally identify the victim sometime in the next few days.
