Robbery of Palmerston North dairy - offenders sought

At 8.20pm Saturday 4 August Police attended reports of three males entering the Top Cook Dairy and Takeaways near the corner of College and Cook Streets, armed; with a baseball bat and a hammer. 

After stealing tobacco from the shop, the three males left the dairy and were seen getting into a white station wagon parked opposite.

They were last seen driving into Savage Crescent.

No one was injured in the robbery.
 
Police are carrying out a scene investigation and continuing with area inquiries this morning.

Anyone who may have seen any vehicle fitting this description, or people acting suspiciously around the dairy last night before or after the robbery time, are asked to contact police.
