Two men entered Zabeels Sports Bar on King Street North, central Hastings at about 9:30am on Tuesday morning, 7 June.
One of the men was in possession of a knife which was used to threaten the bar staff. Cash was targeted during the robbery, and an employee was physically pushed around.
The offenders ran from the bar with the stolen money and headed north on King Street.
Police are looking for witnesses to the robbery and also persons who may have seen these men loitering around on King Street and surrounds. We believe they left the area in a vehicle. ENDS
