Police have arrested Sabbath Mohi who has been on the run since assaulting a Police Officer and escaping from Lower Hutt District Court on September 5th.
Mohi was arrested without incident at a Lower Hutt address this afternoon.
He will remain in police custody before appearing in the Wellington District Court tomorrow morning facing charges of escapes custody, aggravated wounding and robbery.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
As this is now before the courts Police cannot comment any further.
