School closure due to Tauranga death investigation

Police in Tauranga Investigating the suspicious death of a male in Kesteven Avenue, Merivale, advise that Merivale primary School will be closed on Monday, 2 December 2013.
 
The Board of Trustee's have decided to close the school and are in the process of contacting parents to advise that the school will be closed for the day.
 
Parents need to keep their children home on Monday or make alternative care arrangements.
 
The Police and Board of Trustee's apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
 
The school will reopen on Tuesday, 3 December 2013 at the normal time.  
 
Police want to hear from anyone in the area last night or this morning who has any information that may assist with this investigation.
