Two men have been critically injured in a crash on Ormond Road in Hastings this morning.
The single-vehicle crash was reported to Police at 7.20am, but is believed to have occurred earlier, at around 3.40am.
The car appears to have failed to take a bend and has collided with a tree.
One man has been transported to Hawke's Bay Hospital and ambulance staff are working at the scene to stablise the second man.
Ormond Road is closed near the intersection with Evenden Road.
