Palmerston North Police are currently attending a bomb threat job at the MSD offices on Main St, Palmerston North.
Two bags were left in the office at about 10.15am by a disgruntled male who had previously made threats at the office.
Police have cordoned off the area and bomb disposal experts have been called in.
Police ask for members of the public to stay away from the area.
