Police have arrested two women this evening following a search warrant in Dunedin.
Armed Police and AOS cordoned off Maitland Street at approximately 4:30pm today as they carried out a search warrant.
As a result two women, aged 31 and 38, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and will appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow.
The arrests are in relation to an incident which occurred in St Kilda this afternoon.
Police cordons at Maitland Street were stood down around 5:30pm.
As this matter is now before the courts Police cannot comment further.
