Police are this morning following lines of enquiry to locate the offender who shot at Police in Morrinsville yesterday morning.
The focus of the investigation team continues to be on locating the offender and Waikato Police are being supported by staff from other Police districts.
The scene examination is ongoing at Kuranui Road and is expected to be completed later today.
The two people Police were speaking to yesterday in relation to the incident are continuing to assist Police with enquiries.
The investigation team are still appealing for any information relating to the offending vehicle; a red, 2015 Holden Commodore, registration 1 AZIF 1.
We would like to hear from anyone who has seen the vehicle in the area recently or has any information relating to it - no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be.
