Canterbury Police can now name the victim of the fatal crash between a car and truck on SH1 Main South Road last week (24 November 2014) between Dawsons Road and Curraghs Road. He was 71 year old Glenn Hugh ROCKELL from West Melton, the driver and sole occupant of car.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
Mr ROCKELL’s family said “Glenn’s family request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
