As part of weekly practice, Rotorua police forward a list of wanted people to the Daily Post for their weekly column. Often this motivates wanted people to resolve any outstanding matters before the Court.
Ana Eriepa's name was included on this list on 1 October as she has an active administrative warrant to arrest that was sought by the Corrections service on Friday, 27 September in Rotorua District Court. When this list was provided to the Daily Post no link was made between her name and her being a victim of crime.
