Anniversaries marked by parade

A parade through central Wellington last month marked 120 years of NZ Police, 75 years of the NZ Police Pipe Band, 65 years of women in Police, 50 years of the Dog Section and 25 years of RNZPC in Porirua. On parade were staff from Wellington District, dog handlers and recruits from Wing  229, accompanied by the NZ Police Pipe Band. The parade was inspected by Minister of Police the Hon Annette King and Acting Commissioner Steve Long. Right, the NZ Police Pipe Band leads the parade up Molesworth Street to the steps of Parliament.
