Arrest made in relation to assault on two Korean fisherman at Ti Point Wharf

A 34 year-old man has been charged in relation to an attack on two Korean fishermen at the Ti Point Wharf, last Wednesday. 

He has been charged with aggraved robbery, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and reckless driving.

The accused will appear in the North Shore District Court this afternoon.

Enquiries to locate the second offender are ongoing.

The victims have been advised by Police this afternoon and have expressed their relief at the arrest.

The matter is now before the courts and as such, Police are unable to discuss the case any further but would like to thank the public, particularly the Leigh community, for their assistance.
