Case 1: Security Guard Shooting, Northcote

At approximately 7.30pm on Friday 16th of April a security officer was checking the premises of Onepoto Primary School in Northcote. While doing his checks he as approached by a male who said “hi”.
 
After checking the school hall the guard walked back to his car - parked on Fraser Avenue. As he approached the car the male jumped out of the darkness holding a gun with both his hands. After pointing the gun at the security guard he demanded money, which the guard told him he didn’t have. The guard has then shone his torch at the offender who has then fired his gun hitting him in the left cheek, back, shoulder and right arm.
 
The offender then ran away still shooting toward the victim in an unconfirmed direction.
 
The weapon is thought to have been a gas powered pellet gun.
 
The offender is described as:
  • Male
  • Unusual face – unable to determine ethnicity
  • Very dark skin
  • Oval Shaped face
  • Aged between 18 - 25 years
  • 175cm – 180cm / 5’9” – 6’1”
  • Medium to athletic build
He was wearing:
  • Dark coloured “bucket” style hat – perhaps grey in colour
  • Plain dark blue long sleeve top
  • Grey or brown trousers

Case 2: Wanted – Shaun Morris DELLAMORE

Henderson Police need your help to find Shaun Morris DELLAMORE. They have a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court on burglary and theft charges and for breaching his electronic bail conditions.
 
DELLAMORE is described as:
  • Male Caucasian
  • 43 years
  • 195 cm / 6’5”
  • Thin build
He has tattoos on his hands, arms and back and has contacts in West Auckland and North Shore.
 
Police believe he may provide false details and has connections to Black Power, SO DON’T APPROACH HIM.

Case 3: Wanted – David Lyndon WHITEHEAD

New Plymouth Police need your help to find David Lyndon WHITEHEAD. They have eight warrants for his arrest on charges including failure to answer court bail, obtains by deception, obtaining and using a document and breach of community work.
 
WHITEHEAD is described as:
  • Male Caucasian
  • 46 years
  • 187 cm / 6’2”
  • Solid build
He has tattoos on his arms and legs and is associated with the Porirua Mongrel Mob.
 
Police believe he is very transient in nature and has previously offended in Whanganui, Hastings, Lower Hutt and Wellington. He now seems to be targeting the west coast of the North Island and also has contacts in Hamilton.
 
He also uses the names Daryl Whitehead, Derek McCormick, David Stephens, David Stevens, David Gilmore and the nickname “Crayfish Man”.
 
WHITEHEAD is a prolific fraud offender and Police encourage people to report to their local Police station if he has scammed them.

Case 4: Wanted – Rawiri William TAU

Counties Manukau Police need your help to find Rawiri William TAU. They have a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court on various charges including male assaults female, breach of community work. They would also like to speak with him about two serious assaults.
 
TAU is described as:
  • Male Maori
  • 24 years
  • 175cm / 5’9”
  • Medium to solid build
He has contacts in South Auckland, Hamilton and in the far North areas.
 
TAU is actively avoiding police.

Case 5: Kiwibank Cheque Fraud, Hamilton

Ohakune Police need your help to find a female who banked a stolen cheque valued at $44,000 at the Kiwibank in Hamilton East on Wednesday the 4th of November 2009.
 
The female entered the bank at about 4:04pm and has put the money into a bank account that had been fraudulently set up.
 
She is described as:
  • Female Maori or Polynesian
  • Possibly aged in her twenties
  • About 165 cm / 5’5”
  • Slim build
  • Short blonde hair
She was wearing:
  • Light-coloured shirt
  • Black pants
  • Black cardigan
Her right hand was bandaged up at the time of offence.
 
She may be living in the Hamilton area.
