Case 1: Marjorie Jayne Crescent Aggravated Robbery, Otahuhu

At about 1am on Saturday 1st of May a 78 year-old male complainant was home alone at his address in Marjorie Jayne Crescent, Otahuhu.

The complainant was awoken by the sounds of two males removing the louvres from the window adjacent to his front door.

He opened his door and confronted the males, who then forced entry to his unit.

The complainant was punched to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked to the head and face. One of the males also held a screwdriver to the complainant’s face.

The males unsuccessfully demanded drugs and money from the complainant, and instead took his stereo and television set before leaving the address. 

The complainant was left with a broken jaw and severe bruising.

The males were seen to leave the address in a white 4-door sedan.

The first male is described as:

Pacific Island accent
20 to 25 years
Approximately 182cm / 6’0”

He was wearing:

Wearing a brown hooded zip up jersey
Brown coloured pants
Light coloured handkerchief covering face

The second male is described as:
 
Dark skin
Longish black hair possibly down to shoulders

He was wearing:

Dark clothing

Case 2: Arrest Made

Case 3: Wanted – Dixon RANAPIA

Bay of Plenty Police need your help to find Dixon RANAPIA.  They have a 5 warrants for his arrest on charges including unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, theft, failing to appear in court.  They also have a parole recall warrant for his arrest.

RANAPIA is described as:

  • Male Maori
  • 26 years
  • 175cm / 5’9”
  • Medium build

He has a scar on top of his head and a tattoo of a falcon on his left shoulder.

Police believe he has contacts in Auckland, Whakatane and Opotiki.

Case 4: Fatal Crash Identification, Pahiatua

Pahiatua Police need your help to identify this woman that may be a witness to a fatal road crash on Wednesday the 23rd of December last year.

The female is described as:

Caucasian
Aged 30 - 40 years

The crash happened on State Highway 2, which is south of Pahiatua town ship at 7:30pm.

A family travelling to Hawkes Bay were in the car when it crashed and a 67 year-old passenger was killed as a result.

Prior to the crash a dark blue four-door sedan had been parked on the side of the road facing north towards the Pahiatua town ship of which the car has driven off heading north of State Highway 2, towards Pahiatua town ship.

It is possible that the female driver of the sedan was carrying a front and a back seat passenger in the vehicle.
