Case 1: Veterinary Clinic Aggravated Robbery, Mangere

About 8:06pm on Thursday the 3rd of June, the three victims in this matter were at the Mangere Bridge Veterinary Clinic situated at 95 Coronation Road in the capacity as cleaners. 

All three were in the front reception area cleaning when two males entered the store via the front door.  The first male has entered the store and has pointed the firearm directly at one of the cleaners.  The second male has then entered shortly thereafter.

The first male has moved behind the service counter area and has searched that vicinity.  He has used the shotgun as a club to smash the florescent light in that area. 

The second male was seen to uplift and move the cashier till, removing the contents. 

Both men have moved to the rear of the clinic where they have entered the consultation room, smashing a computer monitor.

The surgery room, which was locked, was also forced in - various items had been upturned and searched through.  A locked cabinet containing veterinary drugs was also forced.

All three victims have been ushered into a back room and have remained in the room during the entire incident.  They were threatened with the shotgun and had various items taken from them.

The two men fled via the front door a short time later.

The first offender is described as:

  • Male Maori or Pacific Islander
  • Aged about 20-24 years
  • About 182 cm / 6’0”
  • Large build

He was wearing:

  • Black jacket with reflective and fluorescent yellow panels - the hood pulled up
  • Brown baseball cap,
  • Black or dark blue bandana, covering face
  • White t-shirt or sweatshirt
  • Blue 3/4 pants
  • Gardening gloves.

The second offender is described as:

  • Male Maori or Pacific Islander
  • About 172cm / 5’8”
  • Aged about 18 – 20 years
  • Small or medium build.

He was wearing:

  • Orange jacket with black hood
  • Black or blue glove on left hand
  • Black trousers
  • Chuck Taylor-style boots

Case 2: Wanted – James Sebastian CROFT

Mt Wellington Police need your help to find James Sebastian CROFT. They have 11 warrants for his arrest on charges including unlawfully gets into/upon motor vehicle, possession of instruments for conversion, unlawfully takes motor vehicle, drove a vehicle in a dangerous manner, refused officers request for blood specimen, unlawfully carries firearms, burglary by day and procure / possession of cannabis.
 
CROFT is described as:
  • Male Caucasian
  • 20 years
  • 195cm / 6’5”
  • Thin to medium build
 
He has bad acne and has connections to the Head Hunters.
 
Police believe he has contacts in North Shore, Central, East and West Auckland.
 
He is volatile, unpredictable and carries firearms, SO DON’T APPROACH HIM.

Case 3: Hill Crest Kiwi Bank Aggravated Robbery, Hamilton

Hamilton Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of the Kiwi Bank in Hillcrest Shopping Centre on Monday the 17th of May.
 
The male offender entered the bank at about 11:55am armed with a pistol and threatened the tellers before obtaining a quantity of cash and decamping on foot towards the entrance to Hillcrest Primary School.
 
Police would also like to identify the male that entered the bank approximately 25 minutes before the incident took place and was only inside for 34 seconds.
 
The male offender is described as:
  • Male
  • Medium to dark skin
  • Approximately 180cm / 5’11”
  • Thin build
He was wearing:
  • Blue trousers
  • White sweatshirt with a hood that has a camoflage pattern
  • Dark piece of cloth over face
  • Belt bag strapped across shoulders
