Case 1: Glen Eden Post Shop Aggravated Robbery, Auckland

At about 10am on Saturday morning the 26th of June 2010 a male entered the Kiwi Bank Post Shop in Glenmall Place, Glen Eden robbed it with a firearm.

The offender pulled a pistol shaped weapon from a bag and threatened staff and customers inside. He passed two eco bags over the counter and money was put inside. The offender then ran from the bank.

A sausage sizzle was operating outside a nearby butchery at the time. Several witnesses saw what was happening and gave chase. The male climbed into a vehicle and drive off.

One witness has a similar vehicle and described it as a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant coloured white. There was foil covering the numberplates and a yellow glow vest obscuring something across the bumper - possibly hiding some sort of sign writing or something distinctive.

The offender is described as:

  • Male
  • 30 - 50 years (heavily disguised)
  • Possibly light skinned Maori or Pacific Islander
  • About 165cm / 5’5”
  • Solid build.

He was wearing:

  • Black balaclava
  • Red hoodie under a blue jumper
  • Grey track pants with black and white stripe down the sides
  • White garden gloves.

Case 2: Arrest Made

Case 3: Sylvia Park Indecent Assault, Mt Wellington

Glen Innes Police need your help to identify this male who indecently assaulted a female at the Sylvia Park Shopping Centre just after 5pm on Wednesday the 19th of May.
 
He followed the female out of the shopping centre towards the rear car park and whilst she was carrying two bags up the stairs, he has put his hand up her dress. She has then screamed and run away.
 
The male is described as:
  • Caucasian
  • 25-29 years
  • About 172 - 180cm / 5’8” - 5’11”
  • Stocky build
  • Short (#2 cut) light brown hair.
He was wearing:
  • Dark navy blue polo shirt with red trim on sleeves and collar.
