Waitemata Police have released the names of the deceased who died in five separate road crashes in the District at Anzac Weekend. They are:
Saturday 25 April 2009:
Paul Leonard WORTERS:
Male - Aged 45 years
Resident of Auckland
Mr. WORTERS was the driver of an Isuzu 4 x 4 which was involved in the road crash in Waitakere Road Rodney at 01.45 hours on Saturday 25 April 2009.

Prudence EBERY:
Female - aged 62 years
Resident of Orewa
Prudence EBERY was a passenger in a Mazda motor vehicle involved in a fatal crash on SH 17 in Albany at 1100 hours on Saturday 25 April 2009.

Tearai MEULI
Male - aged 25 years
Resident of Auckland
Mr. MEULI was a passenger in a Mazda which was involved in a fatal crash in Lynwood Road, Kelston, at 1953 hours on Saturday 25 April 2009.

Harjinder SINGH:
Male - aged 25 years
Resident of Whangarei
Mr. SINGH was in a Honda motor vehicle which was in a fatal crash on SH1 Te Hana at 0826 hours on Sunday 26 April 2009

Marissa NAISH:
Female - Aged 14 years
Resident of Kumeu
Miss NAISH was a passenger in a Mazda car which was in a fatal crash at Brighams Creek / SH 16 Kumeu at 1930 hours on Sunday 26 April 2009.

The Serious Crash Unit is continuing its investigations into the circumstances surrounding each of these five fatal crashes in the Waitemata Police District.
