Police are in attendance at a fatal motor vehicle crash which occurred in Invercargill this morning.
At about 7.15am this morning a vehicle crashed into the Farmers building on the intersection of Yarrow and Dee Streets.
The woman driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died as a result of the crash. It appears no other vehicle was involved.
Police Serious Crash Investigators are at the scene and are working to determine the cause of the crash.
Road blocks and traffic diversions are in place near the scene of the crash.
The name of the deceased will be released once next of kin have been informed.
