Police are continuing their serious crash investigation into the cause of a fatal crash on the Luggate-Cromwell Road earlier today.
Police can now confirm all occupants have been removed from the vehicle with three people taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries. Another three have been taken to Dunstan Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are also working to notify the family members of the deceased occupant.
One lane has now been reopened, however motorists should still expect some delays.
