Police seeking offenders in Christchurch dairy robbery

At approximately 6:30am today a dairy near the intersection of Pages and Breezes Roads, Aranui was robbed.

Two disguised offenders entered the dairy and assaulted the sole store attendant with a blunt weapon.

Police are working with the victim who has minor injuries.

It’s believed the offenders left the area on bicycles and went in the direction of Wainoni Road.

They’ve taken an unknown amount of cigarettes and cash, along with the till drawer.

Police want to hear from anyone that has any information which may help with their investigation.

This includes anyone who was in the area at the time or has been offered cheap or free cigarettes.
