Canterbury Police are now able to name the victim of the fatal crash that occurred at around 6.15am on Monday (10 August 2015) between Rangitata and Orari on SH1. She was 55 year old Bevron Cherald Sinclair from Timaru.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
Canterbury Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
