One person has been arrested in relation to the death of a young man at a rural Woodend property earlier this week.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder and will appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow morning (Monday 2 July).
Police can now also confirm the identity of the victim.
He was Oliver Johnston, 20, from Christchurch.
The investigation is ongoing, as is the scene examination at the Jelfs Road address.
Mr Johnston’s family have requested privacy at this time.
