Police non-emergency report
Use this report if someone has been hurt or threatened, or if someone has stolen, tried to steal or damaged something.
You'll need to provide:
- Your name and date of birth,
- an email address, and
- a contact number and address

Non-Injury traffic crash
Use this report if you want to tell us about a traffic crash either yourself or someone else was involved in.
If you are still at the crash site and require police attendance, or people were injured please call 111.
You'll need to provide:
- Your name and date of birth
- an email address, and
- a contact number and address
Other information that helps us in processing your report includes:
- Vehicle registration numbers and details of other drivers involved if known
- A detailed description of what happened including what you think might have contributed to the crash (e.g. speed, weather conditions)
- You could include a diagram of the crash showing vehicles and surrounding area at point of contact (this can be drawn on paper then photographed to upload with the report)

- A detailed description of why you suspect a sanctions breach including your relationship to the sanctioned person, the relationship between the sanctioned person and the sanctioned asset, service or entity.

Responding to hate crimes and incidents
If you, your friends or whānau have experienced abuse, violence, threats, or intimidation motivated by hostility or prejudice, it is extremely important that you report it.
You can report a hate crime or incident online using the 105 non-emergency report or by calling 105.
To report anonymously, use Crime Stoppers or you can make a complaint to the Human Rights Commission.

Reporting firearms matters
To report a lost or stolen firearm, or to notify of the destruction of a firearm, or other matters in relation to firearms, use the 105 non-emergency report or by call 105.
You'll need to provide:
- Your name and date of birth
- an email address, and
- a contact number and address
Please provide as much information as possible, such as:
- Firearm Licence number
- Firearm Serial number, type, make, model and calibre
- Photo of firearm / serial number if available
If notifying of the destruction of a firearm, include the date, time and place the firearm was destroyed, the circumstances and how destroyed.

Online Scam, fraud, or other online crime
If you think you or someone you know has been the victim of an online scam, fraud, abuse and harassment or other criminal activity online you can use the 105 non-emergency report.

Please provide as much information as possible, such as:
- any relevant evidence and documents available e.g. bank statements, emails, texts, social media accounts.
