Junior Detective we need your help.
Your mission is to find pictures of Historic Police Stations hidden in the museum and tell us at Museum HQ how many you find and who your favourite dog is. Let’s see if you can find them all.

Senior Detective Mystery
Detective we need your help with Operation Capsule. A group of friends buried a time capsule. Fifteen years later they dug it up and found 1 million dollars hidden in the lining of the capsule. Look through the evidence to figure out what happened. When you complete your investigation report your findings to Museum HQ. Come in and give it a go for free. We recommend this activity for individuals and groups.

Term 3 School Holiday Programmes: Scene of Crime Officer Workshop: Footwear Impression Evidence

Did you know you can tell what shoe someone is wearing with the shoe print left behind? Create a footprint cast and record a shoe impression using forensic techniques. All junior recruits take home their own cast and impression. Make sure you wear shoes with a clear and interesting sole.

Everyone’s fingerprints are different. Look at your own fingerprints and see what patterns you have. Learn to dust, identify, and lift fingerprints like a true SOCO. All junior recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.

Calling all secondary recruits. Do you know how our Scene of Crime Officers gather evidence? Use the equipment like our SOCOs and learn how they collect fingerprints at a scene. All secondary recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.
