Auckland Police have today arrested a 35 year-old Glen Innes beneficiary in relation to the home invasion in Victoria Ave, Remuera in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
The man has been charged with:
Aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, indecent assault, possession of methamphetamine, possession of utensils for methamphetamine and possession of cannabis.
He will appear in the Auckland District Court later today.
Police have recovered some of the property stolen from the Remuera address during the incident but would still like to locate a laptop, blue mountain bike and a cream-coloured Nike bag.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping to progress this investigation so rapidly.
