At approximately 9.30am today (Thursday, 9 April) police in Tokoroa received information about a possible sighting of Moanaroa Kidwell.
The 27-year-old Tokoroa man is being sought by Waikato Police in regard to an investigating into a series of aggravated robberies.
Local officers and a Bay of Plenty Armed Offenders Squad responded to the sighting, resulting in cordons being placed on a small number of roads. Kidwell was not located and at this stage the sighting remains unconfirmed.
Immediate sightings of Moanaroa Kidwell should be reported by the 111 system.
