1 min read

Please attribute to Detective Inspector Darryl Sweeney:

Police investigating the case of missing man Michael McGrath have identified geographical areas of interest in the greater Christchurch region.

Mr McGrath, a 49-year-old local builder, was last seen on Sunday 21 May.

In recent weeks Police have been consulting with an international expert in locating evidence. That expertise will be overlaid with information gained during the investigation and from the public.

Next week Police will bring in its specialist search teams, who will be joined by civilian teams, to search specific geographical areas to locate evidence relating to Michael’s disappearance.
