Man arrested for aggravated robbery

Thanks to the swift actions of officer’s and information from the public a 21-year-old Levin man has been arrested in relation to the Levin Mobil Service Station aggravated robbery that occurred yesterday (9 August, 2015) morning.

The man was located after Police received information that he was at an address in Levin at about 1am today. Officer’s attended the property and located the man and the clothing from the incident.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery and wounding and is due to appear in the Levin District Court today.

Detective Mike Deegan of the Manawatu CIB says: “Police want to thank the public and media who helped greatly with our appeal for information. We are very grateful for the assistance which has led to this swift arrest.”
