Chapel Street in Tauranga has reopened to the public following a crash overnight.
The road was closed several times while Police carried out enquiries and recovered a vehicle from the water.
As part of that work, the Police Dive Squad arrived about 2pm and have since concluded their work.
We want to thank the public for their understanding.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing and at this time Police are unable to comment further.
