Appendix 9 of the Crewe Review is a thesis written by Christopher Price to fulfil the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Forensic Science. The thesis references the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

Introduction to the Thesis
During the prosecution of Mr Arthur Allan Thomas for the Crewe murders (1970), an important element of the judicial proceedings involved a consideration of the link between the fatal bullets recovered from the victims and a cartridge case which was recovered from the crime scene.

Appendix 8 of the Crewe Review contains seven ballistics reports completed as part of the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The seven reports have been completed over a period of time between 1972 and 2014.
 

Appendix 7 of the Crewe Review covers the assessment of the pathology reports, by Dr Ian Morrow, regarding the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The appendix includes the original assessment of the pathology reports completed in 2013, and an addendum to the assessment.
 

Appendix 6 of the Crewe Review is the notes taken from the conferences held during 1970 as part of the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The conferences were held between 23 June and 26 October 1970. The conferences on 2 October and 26 October have no notes recorded for them.

Appendix 4 of the Crewe Review has five separate medical rreports on the condition of Rochelle Crewe on 22 June 1970. These reports were made  as part of the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The five reports cover four reports made in 1970 into the condition of Rochelle Crewe, as well as an report completed in 2013 which looked to review the original four reports.
 

Appendix 3 of the Crewe Review shows a selection of crime scene and investigation photographs taken as part of the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The photographs covered in this appendix include images of the:

• scene;
• area canvas/general enquiries;
• firearm ballistics examination;
• wire examination;
• axle;
• Exhibit 350; and
• persons of interest.

Appendix 2 of the Crewe Review looks at the chronology of events involved before, during and after the investigation into the deaths of Harvey and Jeannette Crewe.

The events covered by this chronology range from March 1959 through to December 1981, and include key events such as investigation dates, requests for reviews, and important dates pertaining to individuals involved in the case.
 

This survey was run as part of the Assurance review 'Increasing representation of women in senior management roles'. A total of 2125 police employees (constabulary and employees) participated in a Career Survey between 19 July and 3 August 2012.
