Arms Legislation Bill Supplementary Order Paper

On Wednesday 13th November, the Minister of Police Hon Stuart Nash introduced a Supplementary Order Paper to the Arms Legislation Bill. The Supplementary Order paper can be obtained from the New Zealand Legislation website.
The following contains the Cabinet paper and Cabinet minute for the Supplementary Order Paper and a Commentary. The Commentary is intended to assist with the understanding of the intent of the Supplementary Order Paper. It explains that the paper delivers on the intent of the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines and Parts) Amendment Act 2019 by adding to the list of prohibited firearms a further group of firearms with high-harm potential.
