Police seek information on missing man

Christchurch police are seeking assistance from the public to help locate a missing man.

Reginald Anthony Pitout, aged 26, has been missing from his home address in Richmond, Christchurch, since 24 January.

He is a South African with red/brown hair, approximately 172 cm (5ft 8in) tall, of skinny build.

Police say that his normal contacts have not heard from him since he left home on that date.

He is not believed to have left New Zealand, and may be travelling around the South Island, possibly on the West Coast.
