The family of Mr Bill McNatty, the skipper of the capsized boat “Francie”, are asking for privacy from media at this time.
Police are in close contact with the families of all of the victims.
Mr McNatty’s family are receiving multiple approaches from media and have advised that they do not wish to make any form of public statement at this time.
Whilst they acknowledge the high level of public interest, they would appreciate it if media could please stop calling, sending messages via social media and visiting or waiting outside their properties.
