ARRESTS MADE IN RELATION TO RECENT DUNEDIN ROBBERIES

Dunedin Police have made an arrest in relation to recent robberies committed in the Dunedin area between 5th and 13th June 2011.

A 19 year old male has been charged for his role in relation to the robberies at the BP Service Station in Mornington on 5th June, the Green Island Post and Paper on 7th June and the 10 O'Clock Diary in St Kilda on 13th June 2011.

He is to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Wednesday 15th June 2011 in relation to these charges.

Two other males appeared in the Dunedin District Court on 14th June 2011 in relation to the robbery at the 10 O'Clock diary on 13th June 2011.

Police are continuing with enquires and can not rule out the possibility of further arrests being made.
