Name release: Fatal crash, Eskdale

Police can now name the man who died following a crash between a car and a truck in Eskdale, north of Napier, on Thursday 14 February. 
 
He was 36-year-old Scott Michael Faulkner of Hastings.
 
Police extend our sympathies and sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
 
Victim Support are providing assistance to both Mr Faulkner’s family and a truck driver involved in the crash. The truck driver was not injured. 
 
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. 
 
Police would like to hear from anyone travelling on State Highway 5 between Taupo and Napier on Thursday 14 February, who may have seen the crash or the silver Mitsubishi station wagon driven by Mr Faulkner.
