At approximately 8.45pm on Thursday 11th December 2014, Police responded to an incident in Upper Hutt.
On arrival, Police located one deceased person and three people injured at different addresses within the Timberlea area. Two people have been taken to Hutt Hospital with moderate injuries.
Police have cordoned the scene and are currently speaking with residents within the area to establish what has occurred.
A male has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault. He is also facing a charge in relation to the death.
