State Highway 2 is closed at Mangatwhiri after a truck and trailer rolled.
The accident happened approximately 1.5km north of Maramarua Golf Course shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday 19 October, 2016. The driver suffered minor injuries and has been treated at the scene.
The road is expected to remain closed for some time as some of the paint being transported by the truck and trailer has spilt on the highway.
Diversions are in place westbound at Rawiri Road interchange, and eastbound at Mangatawhiri Road.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for their journey or avoid the area where possible.
