State Highway 2 near Pekapeka National Park in Pakipaki is blocked following a two-vehicle crash.

The crash was reported to emergency services around 12.15pm.

Motorists are advised to expect delays or delay travel if possible following a serious crash earlier tonight on State Highway 1, just south of Waitati. 

State Highway 1, Dunedin Northern Motorway, has been closed following a serious two-vehicle crash.

Police were first advised of the crash at approximately 6.30pm.
